WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORDERING SPARE RETAINERS AND REGULAR POP ON RETAINERS?

Spare retainers will not include an impression kit. Your spare retainers will be designed the same way as your original retainers and may have slight differences due to the delicate finishing process which happens by hand. After you place your order for spare retainers, we’ll immediately get started on making your custom set.

WHY WOULD I ORDER SPARE RETAINERS?

Many customers have found it helpful to have a backup set of retainers in case anything happens to their first set. Others like to keep one set at home and one at work or in a travel bag. Having spare retainers ensures your smile stays secure, no matter where life takes you.

DO I HAVE TO MAKE MY IMPRESSION MOLDS AGAIN WHEN I ORDER SPARE RETAINERS?

Nope! We have a digital copy of your original impression molds, so you don’t need to make them again.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PLACE MY ORDER FOR SPARE RETAINERS?

You can order spare retainers up to 90 days after the date of purchase of your original retainers.

CAN I ORDER JUST THE TOP OR JUST THE BOTTOM RETAINER?

Sure! You’re welcome to order a Top or Bottom spare retainer, even if you previously ordered both.

IF I ONLY ORDERED TOP OR BOTTOM, CAN I ORDER BOTH FOR MY SPARE RETAINERS?

You can get spare retainers that match the arch we previously designed for you. If you’d like to get both Top and Bottom but only purchased one arch before, please place an order for a new Pop On Retainer for the additional arch so we can send you an impression kit.

DO I NEED TO MAKE NEW IMPRESSION MOLDS FOR SPARE RETAINERS?

Nope! We save a digital copy of your original molds. As long as there haven't been changes to your teeth, we’ll use the original molds to create your spare retainers.

IF I'VE HAD SOME DENTAL WORK DONE OR MY TEETH HAVE SHIFTED, CAN I ORDER SPARE RETAINERS?

Spare retainers are made from your original molds. If your teeth have shifted or you’ve had any dental work done, please order a new Pop On Retainer so we can send you a new impression kit and make your retainers based on the changes in your mouth.

IF I WASN’T HAPPY WITH MY ORIGINAL RETAINERS, SHOULD I ORDER SPARE RETAINERS?

If your original retainers fit well, then a spare set will match that fit. If you weren’t thrilled with the fit or design, we don’t recommend ordering a spare. Instead, please reach out to us at team@poponveneers.com so we can better understand your concerns and help you find the best solution.

IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH MY SPARE RETAINERS, CAN I REMAKE THEM?

Spare retainers are made from your original molds and will fit the same way as your original retainers. Because of this, we do not offer remakes on spare retainers. However, feel free to reach out to our team if you experience any issues.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY SPARE RETAINERS?

For spare retainers, we accept all our usual forms of payment except Partial.ly. If you choose to pay with Partial.ly, the discount will not be applied.

IF IT’S BEEN MORE THAN 90 DAYS SINCE I PURCHASED MY RETAINERS, CAN I STILL GET SPARE RETAINERS?

Since spare retainers are designed from your original impression molds, they’ll only fit if your teeth haven’t changed. Please contact our team at team@poponveneers.com to see if we still have your digital molds on file and if we’re able to make your spare retainers.
